'Trying to recreate the Oscar-winning movie'

While some fans want to see Michelle Yeoh and Ke Huy Quan create magic on-screen once again, some are quick to point out that 'American Born Chinese' gives off major 'Everything Everywhere All at Once' vibes. Some also pointed out how its quite boring to see Yeoh and Huy Quan together again. One user wrote, "Wtf is this poster," to which another replied with, "I’m so glad awkwardfina ain’t in this." Another user responded with, "Michelle Yeoh Emmy campaign is [on]," to which another user chimed in with, "Looks like a bad movie like the bad movie everything everywhere all at once." Another fan was quick to point out that Disney really took the entire cast of EEAAO in the series, but titled a different name and wrote, "Seriously? They SERIOUSLY took 90 per cent of the cast from EEAAO?" With a user pointing out that the poster looks exactly like EEAAO had and wrote, "It even reminds of the eeao poster," with another sharing their thoughts about how Disney is trying to recreate the Oscar-winning movie, 'Everything Everywhere All at Once,' and wrote, "Disney tryna recreate the magic of EEAAO lmaooo."
