NEW YORK CITY, NEW YORK: A group of CNN pundits displayed surprise this week during their discussion about the strong polling performance of former President and leading 2024 GOP candidate, Donald Trump. They particularly noted his robust support among Black voters.

While Trump's polling indicates significant support, particularly in swing states, President Joe Biden is experiencing a rapid decline in his approval ratings.

According to a recent Reuters/Ipsos poll, Biden's approval has dropped to 39%, marking his lowest level since April.

Following this news, Fox News anchor Sean Hannity took to X (formerly Twitter) to report on CNN’s reactions, saying, “CNN is shocked.”

However, the Internet did not respond well to Hannity’s tweet as several people slammed the Fox News anchor, calling him out for “spreading misinformation".

Sean Hannity reports on CNN’s reactions to Donald Trump’s rising polls

Fox News anchor Sean Hannity took to X and wrote, “From women, to Hispanic voters, Black voters —22% of Black voters behind Trump? That is not seen in the modern era for a Republican frontrunner, right? I mean…wow.”

Hannity’s tweet featured an article from his official website titled, “CNN shocked! Panel Can't Believe How Well Trump Is Polling, 'It's Startling'."

In the article, it was reported that some CNN experts expressed shock while discussing Donald Trump’s polling, particularly among Black voters.

One panelist said, “From women, to Hispanic voters, Black voters —22% of Black voters behind Trump? That is not seen in the modern era for a Republican frontrunner, right? I mean…wow.”

The panelist continued, “It’s startling. I looked at the Democratic response, Kevin Munoz, the spokesman for Biden, and this idea that you know, we have a year. We can turn things around. I think you have to look at this being a challenge from the very beginning.”

As per Reuters, the recent two-day opinion poll revealed that 39% of respondents approved of Biden's performance, mirroring the April figure, and slightly lower than the 40% recorded in October and 42% in September.

Notably, the poll's margin of error was approximately three percentage points.

Looking ahead, Biden is widely anticipated to engage in a rematch with former President Donald Trump in the November 2024 election, with Trump currently leading the Republican nomination race. Other recent polls have indicated the potential for a closely-contested race between the two candidates.

Notably, there was an increase in the percentage of poll respondents who ranked "war and foreign conflicts" as their top concern, rising from 4% in October to 8% in November. This shift reflects a growing unease, likely stemming from the significant escalation in the Israel-Palestinian conflict.

Internet blasts Sean Hannity for ‘spreading misinformation’

After Sean Hannity reported on CNN’s reaction to the rising poll numbers of Donald Trump, the Internet did not agree with the Fox News anchor and slammed him.

One person wrote, “Sean is out to spread misinformation and disinformation again." And another said, “Hannity is a free range b***h.”

A person said, “Hannity is a chump. This dude is a little b***h. I just heard his radio show about how he thinks he isn’t a chump.”

One wrote, “You are the biggest waste of space on the planet.”

Another slammed him saying, “Your're a liar and a fraud you have no credibility. One user wrote, “Dream on potato head.”
