'He was making a point, genius': Internet defends Donald Trump after Joe Scarborough shares ex-POTUS' 'confused' speech
NEW YORK CITY, NEW YORK: On X, formerly known as Twitter, ‘Morning Joe’ host shared a clip of former President Donald Trump at the Concerned Women of America 2023 Leadership Summit on September 16, in Washington DC.
Scarborough shared a 27-second clip, which was part of a nearly 70-minute-long speech, where the ‘Morning Joe’ host claimed that “Trump confuses Biden for Obama.”
As Scarborough quoted Trump on X, the internet defended the former President, often comparing him to President Joe Biden.

In addition to this, Scarborough also retweeted broadcaster Mehdi Hasan, who also shared a clip of Donald Trump from the same speech.
Hasan’s tweet read, “77-year-old Trump last night was so confused and incoherent that he suggested Obama was his opponent in 2024, also suggested he beat Obama in 2016, and seemed to think we were on the verge of World War *2*. I can only imagine the headlines if 80-year-old Biden had said this.”

In response to Scarborough’s tweet, the internet has come to Trump’s defense, and compared the former President’s speech to “Biden’s gaffs.”
