MOSCOW, IDAHO: Bryan Kohberger arrived at the Latah County Jail Wednesday evening, January 4, after being extradited from Pennsylvania where he was arrested by the state police and the FBI. It was reported that the PhD student at WSU was eager to go back to Moscow, Idaho, and learn about the evidence that law enforcement has against him. These reports have driven the Internet sleuths to start a discussion about his personality. One such debate is assessing whether his personality type is INTJ or not.
A person with an INTJ type has introverted, intuitive, thinking, and judging personality traits. Often described as "thoughtful tacticians", they love perfecting the details of life and applying creativity and rationality to everything they do. However, their inner world is often a private, complex one. People with this personality type are considered to be quick-witted. Bryan Kohberger was taken into custody for the murders of Kaylee Goncalves, Xana Kernodle, Maddie Mogen, and Ethan Chapin, after six weeks of rigorous investigation.

The discussion began when a Redditor posted, "I was browsing through one of BK's sister's YouTube channel to see if she has shared some interesting context about her brother. Only mention of BK I could find is when she describes him as an INTJ and says growing up he was a bit protective towards her despite him being younger. I'm not really into the "Myers–Briggs Type Indicator" stuff but maybe some people here find this bit of information interesting. Unfortunately nothing else of interest to report." Many people came forth with their own perspectives.
Is Bryan Kohberger an INTJ-type?
One user simply said, "I am also an INTJ, but have no plans of murdering anyone." Another user wrote, "I think the protectiveness thing is interesting… almost reminds me of how Joe Goldberg in the show “you” was a literal serial killer with multiple gruesome deaths of women and stalker behavior under his belt… but desperately wanted a daughter to protect.. idk the psychology behind that but there has to be some."
One user said, "I'm an INTJ and consider myself a good strategist, but I'd never hurt a fly. However, he's clearly no criminal mastermind." Another user said, "Idk, I’m an INTP and if he doesn’t encapsulate the personality to the fullest based off of what we know (murder being an outlier) I don’t know who would. INTJ is the brother/sister type and often overlaps, even I think I’m more INTJ… but go on over to the INTP subreddit and take a glance."
One user wrote, "As a female INTJ- I also have never thought of murdering anyone."
