Donald Trump said, 'Crooked Joe Biden is running a non-stop conveyor belt importing illegal aliens from all over the world'

NEW YORK CITY, NEW YORK: On Wednesday, amid his New York Civil Fraud trial, former President Donald Trump took over Truth Social and released a video to explain how he plans to “end welfare benefits for illegal aliens.”

In this video, Trump also addressed “crooked Joe Biden.” After his post on Truth Social, Fox News anchor Sean Hannity took to X, formerly known as Twitter, as he quoted Trump, as well as reported on his “promise.”

As Hannity’s website highlighted the former President’s “2024 promise,” the Fox News anchor faced backlash on the social media platform.

Sean Hannity quotes Donald Trump’s ‘promise’

On X, Fox News anchor Sean Hannity quoted Donald Trump and wrote, “TRUMP: “On day one of my new administration, we will shut down this travesty and defend the wealth of hard-working middle-class families.”

Hannity’s official website was also updated with an article titled, “TRUMP MAKES 2024 PROMISE: ‘No Welfare for Illegal Aliens’”

In this, Hannity further shared Trump’s video from his Truth Social, and quotes from the same. Trump said, “Crooked Joe Biden is running a non-stop conveyor belt importing illegal aliens from all over the world.”

Trump spoke more about “crooked Joe” in this statement, “So not only is crooked Joe surrendering your borders and your sovereignty, he’s stealing your hard-earned money to redistribute it to people who have no business being in our country…this is not sustainable.”

Along with Trump’s “2024 promise,” Hannity also addressed the former President as the “2024 GOP frontrunner.”

Donald Trump faces backlash

Following Sean Hannity’s report on Donald Trump’s promise, the internet was quick to lash out at both Hannity and Trump, but the focus remained on Trump.

One user wrote, “He didn't last time but, sure, he's changed. Hahahahahaha,” and another said, “He never did before.”

“That’s assuming there IS a ‘day one,’” wrote one user, and said, “Now that’s funny.”

Some people even questioned Hannity as one wrote, “Why are you backing this horrible man,” and another said, “I wish Trump had defended and improved the wealth of the average American. He ran up a debt more than all past presidents combined, just to give the top 1% a tax cut. Hannity, it is preposterous that you are here opening up your lying hypocritical mouth to support the serial loser.”
