Internet backs Fox News anchor Laura Ingraham as she accuses GOP of ‘lying’ about Mitch McConnell’s health scares
NEW YORK CITY, NEW YORK: On Sunday, September 4, Fox News anchor Laura Ingraham shared South Dakota Senator Mike Rounds' statement on Minority Leader Mitch McConnell’s health.
The tweet featured an article from Politico which highlighted the latest “freezing” of McConnell during a press conference last week.
This came after Ingraham was brutally slammed by the internet for calling McConnell and Joe Biden’s wives a “big problem.”

On X, formerly known as Twitter, Fox News anchor Laura Ingraham posted a tweet and alleged that GOP Senators are lying about Mitch McConnell being “perfectly capable” of continuing his work following his recent freezing for the second time during a press conference.
The tweet read, “Why are GOP Senators lying about McConnell? McConnell remains 'perfectly capable,' South Dakota senator says – POLITICO.”
The tweet also featured an article from Politico titled, “McConnell remains ‘perfectly capable,’ South Dakota senator says.”

Senator Mike Rounds spoke to CNN and said, “I spoke with Mitch yesterday afternoon … and he said he was in good shape.”
The alarming concern came after McConnell froze for nearly 30 seconds after being asked about his reelection plans for 2026.
McConnell also suffered a similar incident in July during a press conference at the Capitol.
Rounds also added, “We all understand that he’s good, he’s good for our party and he sees the long road ahead. At this stage of the game, I think he’ll continue on.”

Laura Ingraham calls out GOP's 'working limits'
Recently, the Fox News channel shared ‘The Ingraham Angle’ hosts' views on POTUS and McConnell’s “working limits” where Laura Ingraham alleged that they are being “pushed” by their wives and families.

Ingraham’s statement was also quoted in the tweet which read, “This is always a tough situation in any family, but in this case- with the authority and power that they have- I have no words for their wives and families who keep pushing them out there.”
