WASHINGTON, DC: Conservative host Benny Johnson recently took to X, formerly known as Twitter, where he shared an interaction between the White House correspondent for Fox News, Peter Doocy, and the White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre.

In this post, Johnson labeled Jean-Pierre “cringe” after she responded to Doocy when questioned about the economy of the country. Following this clip shared by Johnson, the internet also joined the host in mocking the Press Secretary.

On X, Benny Johnson wrote, “Peter Doocy sends Cringe Jean Pierre into bizarre meltdown blaming Trump after he reality checks Biden’s economic disaster.”

In the clip, Peter Doocy asked Karine Jean-Pierre, “Why do you think it is that when you say the economy is improving, and President Biden says the economy is improving, that a majority of Americans outside this building are not buying it?”

Jean-Pierre was prompt with her response and said, “So here’s the thing. When we walked into this administration, the economy was on a tailspin, and that is the fact, because of the last administration, because of the Trump administration,” Jean-Pierre briefly fumbled over her words in her response.

She elaborated, “Because of how they dealt with Covid and the pandemic. Because they didn’t have a comprehensive plan.”

Jean-Pierre then spoke more about Joe Biden and how he got the economy “back on its feet.”

After Benny Johnson shared the clip of Karine Jean-Pierre’s response to Peter Doocy, the internet was quick to respond and trolled the White House Press Secretary.

One user said, “Imagine being almost 4 years into your own administration and still blaming the previous…” and another wrote, “KJP is the worst. I can’t listen to her LIES anymore.”

“Doocy really does know how to ask the best questions,” wrote one user, and another said, “JP needs to step down. She’s done nothing but lie away about Trump. Nobody believes her.”

Jean-Pierre continued to face backlash on the social media platform as one user wrote, “Everyone always blaming someone else,” and another said, “She lies like a rug and doesn’t bat an eye doing it. So disgusting.”
