Internet accuses Fox News anchor Sean Hannity of 'gaslighting' after he shares video of Joe Biden coughing

NEW YORK CITY, NEW YORK: Fox News anchor Sean Hannity has shared a recent video of President Joe Biden from his visit to a school in Washington, DC. In this video, Biden is seen interacting with the kids.

After his visit to Eliot-Hine Junior High on Monday, Biden was seen walking into the Oval Office with Dr. Kevin O'Connor his personal physician, as per Daily Mail. Nothing further has been reported on POTUS’ health by the White House.

Meanwhile, Hannity received flack on X, formerly known as Twitter, for sharing his particular video of Biden and focusing on the fact that the President shook the children’s hands after the cough.

Sean Hannity focuses on Joe Biden’s cough

In the video shared by Fox News anchor, Sean Hannity, President Joe Biden is coughing into one hand, while using the other to interact with the school children as he shakes their hands.

Along with the video, Hannity wrote, “Biden Repeatedly Coughs into His Hand, Goes Back to Shaking Hands with Students in Washington, D.C.”

However, the internet wasn’t too pleased with Hannity sharing this particular video of Biden, as they repeatedly pointed out that Biden wasn’t using the same hand to cough into and interact with the kids at this school in Washington, DC.

Internet comes to Joe Biden’s defense

Several people have pointed out the missed detail in the video shared by Sean Hannity. One person responded to the video and said, “As much as I don’t like him this is not a big deal. He is coughing in his left hand,” and another wrote, “Coughs into his left hand and never reaches that hand out to the kids Shawneeee... he shakes their hands with his right hand.”

The internet has questioned Hannity on what the “issue” here is as one person wrote, “He's shaking with his right hand and coughing into his left. What's the issue?” and another said, “Coughs in left hand, shakes hands with right. Minor detail.”

Some have even sarcastically mocked Hannity as one tweeted, “Great observation, Sean. Coughs into one hand and shakes with the other. The correct way to do it. Wow, I can't believe Sean Hannity said something polite about President Joe Biden. Getting softer in your old age, Sean?”

People have also accused Hannity of “gaslighting” as one person tweeted, “He did not use the hand he coughed into to shake hands. He coughed twice not multiple times. Stop the gaslighting!”
