Caitlyn Jenner says there's 'no way' Robert Kardashian didn't know whether OJ Simpson killed Nicole Brown

Caitlyn Jenner gave some interesting insights on the trial of OJ Simpson on Wednesday night's episode of I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here!

The 70-year-old trans activist was speaking to Kate Garraway and Jacqueline Jossa when she revealed how she had seen Nicole Brown Simpson just two days before she was found dead. According to her, there was no way that Robert Kardashian -- who represented OJ as part of his defense team -- didn't know whether his client was guilty of killing her or not.

"It was the first time that anybody saw anything like it, you were at the heart of it weren’t you?" Kate asked Caitlyn.

At the time, Caitlyn was Bruce and was married to Kris Jenner, who was previously married to OJ's lawyer Robert and was also Nicole's best friend. "I saw Nicole two days before she was murdered. It was Kris’ best friend, we were right in the middle of it. [Kris'] ex-husband Robert - OJ was the best man at their wedding," the 70-year-old recounted.

"It was a bad time for everybody, very difficult," she continued. "We knew what happened and this trial was a joke and when the verdict came down Kris just turned around to me and goes: 'We should have listened to Nicole from the beginning, she was right.'"

"That night the verdict came in Kourtney and Kimberly [Kardashian] were in school and obviously they loved their father - and they should - and they’d been following this for a year and a half," Caitlyn recalled. "And when they walked in the door, I think it was Kourtney who said: 'Well I told you he didn’t do it.'"

Perturbed by their comments, Caitlyn admonished them.

"And I just said to the girls: 'Just because he got a not guilty didn’t mean he didn’t do it and I don’t want his name ever mentioned in this house again,'" she said.

When Jossa asked whether Robert knew the truth of it all, Caitlyn said there was "just no way he didn't know."

Kate then asked Caitlyn if she personally liked OJ.

"No. Too big an ego for me," she responded saying. "We went on some vacations together with OJ and Nicole and the kids. I liked Nicole and she sure didn’t deserve what she got."

OJ was charged with the murder of Nicole and her friend Ron Goldman in 1994. By then, Caitlyn (who was Bruce at the time) had been married to Kris for three years after she having divorced Robert in 1991.

While the former running back ended up being acquitted, a civil court awarded a $33.5 million judgment against him in 1997 for the victims' wrongful deaths. In a bid to avoid paying more of the liability judgment, he moved to Florida in 2000.

Seven years later, OJ would be arrested in Las Vegas for armed robbery and kidnapping. He was sentenced to 33 years in prison in 2008 but was eventually released on parole in October 2017.
