MOSCOW, IDAHO: The probe into the case of Idaho quadruple murders has been dragging on for weeks, making people restless around the nation. Kaylee Goncalves and Madison Mogen, both 21, were murdered with 20-year-olds, Xana Kernodle and her boyfriend Ethan Chapin, in the early morning hours of November 13 in a house near the college campus.
Investigators have yet to identify the killer, leading to numerous wild theories regarding the suspect. In the previous weeks, speculation emerged regarding a person named Jack DeCoeur, whose number was apparently called by one of the victims many times, just before they were stabbed to death. A lot of people began alleging that he was the one who murdered the four, which was officially confirmed as a false allegation by the police. The victims' families also dismissed the accusations against Jack.

Now, yet another theory has started doing rounds online. As per a Twitter user, the multiple calls were actually not made to “Jack.” The user named @whereisheather shared, “Maybe the calls to ‘jack’ were really them screaming the killer’s name and Siri picked it up thinking they meant to call Jack… but it just dialed the first ‘jack’ in their phones #Idaho4 #idahohomicides #moscowmurders #idahostudents.”

The person also noted, “It only takes 1 Siri enabled call. After that, you can open the keypad, and if no number is listed, (blank on the dial pad), you can hit the green button and it’ll dial the last number called…Timeline gets them home at 1:56am, where was hoodie guy? How long does it take to get from food truck to the house? When was the first ‘call’ made?,” which resulted in a myriad of responses as another user said, “According to Google, it takes 24-26 minutes to walk from where the food truck was parked, 309 S. Main St., to 1122 King Rd. https://bit.ly/3h5mKjA #idahostudents #idaho #idahohomicides #idahomurders #hoodieguy #idahofour #idaho4.”

@whereisheather then replied, “So girls timeline is they were home at 1:56am… 24 minutes to walk there, just about the same time as the first call…” The third user went on to ask, “Wait. Didn’t they get a ride home? It was a private service for sororities and fraternities, if I remember that correctly,” to which the first one explained, “Yes. If hoodie guy followed them… and walked… it would have taken 24 minutes to arrive at the residence.”

As more people got involved, the discussion got more interesting. Referring to @whereisheather’s explanation, a person tweeted, “But that would mean the killer(s) took 26 minutes in their room alone, and that for some reason the Siri on one phone was much more sensitive than on the other. Obviously anything is possible, but I can't help but think these were just drunken phone calls.”

Obviously anything is possible, but I can't help but think these were just drunken phone calls.
Drunken calls is the MOST LIKELY reason for the calls, but it’s also plausible it could be something else. Even though not as likely, it could have happened. Just trying to make sense of what little information the public. Coming up with alternative theories

What’s the first thing most people do when they get up - even in the middle of the night— grab their phone. Let’s say she was struggling- may have inadvertently dialed him.

Literally we’ve seen so much real life that’s been more terrifying & crazy than any piece of fiction .. nothing is crazy to me anymore ! That includes Siri picking up the name of the killer 🤷🏻♀️🥹

Possible…can you imagine though if there are voicemails on Jack’s phone with sounds of struggle. How awful, but maybe great evidence also.

maybe that’s why the families stand so firmly behind him NOT being the killer.
— whereisheather (@whereisheather) December 3, 2022
maybe that’s why investigators are looking for evidence AFTER the last phone call… because they know the killer was there between 2am-3am…
