In an interview with Fox News, Gray expressed his frustration with Mabbutt, as he complained that she had spilled a lot of information about the other victims. Gray reportedly said, "I could go on for days about the coroner. Cathy Mabbutt made some personal phone calls to some of the family and released a lot of information that investigators didn't know about."
As per the outlet, she also told Goncalves' father Steve about the injuries the other victims, Madison Mogen, Xana Kernodle and Ethan Chapin, had sustained, which Gray said was improper.
In an exclusive interview with Fox News Digital on, Sunday, December 11, Steve revealed that Mabbutt had given information about Goncalves' injuries with one of his underage daughters. Steve reportedly said, "She said these were big open gouges. She said it was quick. These weren't something where you were going to be able to call 911. They were not going to slowly bleed out."
The Moscow Police Department has received so many tips concerning the vehicle that the calls were being routed to a national FBI tip line. Police claimed they were still hunting for the occupants and that the license plate was unknown.
According to reports, all potential suspects have been eliminated, including the two surviving housemates, the man who was cauptured on the live camera with Mogen and Goncalves at a food truck in the downtown area before they returned home on the night of the killings and the person who gave Mogen and Goncalves a ride home from the food truck.
