MOSCOW, IDAHO: Bryan Christopher Kohberger, the suspected murderer in Idaho, was bullied for his weight and lack of social skills, according to his former Pennsylvania classmate. Sarah Healey, who went to the same high school said Kohberger was shy and had a very small circle of friends in high school. However, some of their classmates, particularly girls, made fun of Kohberger and threw things at him. "It was bad. There was definitely something off about him like we couldn't tell exactly what it was. I remember one time when I was walking in the hallway, and he stopped me and was like, ‘Do you want to hang out?’" Healey added.
In their high school, other girls reportedly called Kohberger a "creep" and some also said, "I don't want to hang out with you," according to Healey. She said, "I honestly think that's what led up to this because he didn't get the proper help, and it was mainly females that bullied him.” She claimed that despite the bullying, Kohberger consistently received outstanding grades and "was very into his books." According to another Kohberger's acquaintance who told Fox News, "He's really, really intelligent. A bright kid … someone who stood out even in honors and high-level classes.” She described him as "awkward and intelligent, but not someone you would peg for violent."

His friend claimed that although he didn't socialize much on campus, he was friendly with her. She claimed that a little more than two years ago, she last communicated with him on Facebook. They discussed their goals and plans for the future. "I was looking at my Master's program, and he was talking about whether he was going to do forensic psychology or criminology or both, but he knew he was going for a Ph.D. And I wasn't sure what I would have to do in my Ph.D. programs if I was going to do a masters or Ph.D., so we had had a whole conversation about that, and that was our last conversation,” she remarked.
"I want to talk to him now and ask him what happened. What went wrong? What was going through your head? What were you feeling? What was going on? You know, why did this occur?" the friend remarked. Authorities claim that before moving to Pennsylvania, the suspect in the Idaho killings, Bryan Christopher Kohberger, lived in Pullman, Washington. Kohberger, a student at Washington State University, was captured more than 2,500 miles from the location of the murder, six weeks after the four victims' purported deaths.
