LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Bradley Cooper is enthusiastically open to reprising his role in 'The Hangover IV.'

The star of 'Silver Linings Playbook' expressed his eagerness during an interview with 'The New Yorker Radio Hour,' stating his desire to delve back into the realm of "fun" movies.

In the podcast show, the 48-year-old mentioned, “I would probably do Hangover IV in an instant. Just because I love Todd [Phillips], I love Zach [Galifianakis], I love Ed [Helms] so much, I probably would,” as per The Hollywood Reporter.

Despite his willingness, Bradley Cooper believes it might have to be put on hold, stating, "I don't think Todd is ever going to do that."

Reflecting on his recent focus on more serious roles, the star expressed, “There’s nothing more fun that I’ve experienced than Maestro and A Star is Born. I wouldn’t do it if it wasn’t."

Bradley Cooper takes the Director's chair for 'Maestro'

In his latest project, 'Maestro,' Bradley Cooper assumes the roles of director, co-writer, and lead actor alongside Carey Mulligan.

The film serves as a biopic centered on the iconic composer Leonard Bernstein, with Cooper portraying the titular character and Mulligan portraying his wife, Felicia Montealegre Cohn Bernstein.

In a previous interview with Vogue, Carey Mulligan shared insights, stating, "Their connection was profound. They lit each other up. You can hear it: There are tapes of them exchanging anecdotes, and it’s like they’re dancing."

She further said, “For her, the betrayal wasn’t sex. It was when she felt someone else intruding into the space she held for him, being the person who understood him, who was necessary.”

“There was a lot of ‘What if?’ with her character. What if she hadn’t given up acting?"

"When I listened to tapes of her being interviewed, it seemed like she wasn’t sure how far she’d have gone — that she felt like, maybe she didn’t have it in her to be great. But on the other hand, she never got the chance to find out,” the 'Great Gatsby' star said.

The 'Nose' controversy

Cooper faced a bizarre controversy when he was criticized for using a prosthetic nose for his character's portrayal.

According to Page Six, Jewish actress Tracy-Ann Oberman reportedly remarked, "If Bradley Cooper is able to play the Elephant Man without any prosthetics, he should be able to play a Jewish man without any need for prosthetics — especially a ‘Jewish’ nose."

However, Joshua Molina, the esteemed Jewish actor, came to Bradley Cooper's defense, stating, "I do not take issue with Bradley Cooper being made to look like a real person. Jews do not, in fact, have bigger noses than other people do; Leonard Bernstein did. That’s the end of the story for me.”

'Maestro' is presently running in theaters and will be available on Netflix from December 20.
