'I am Jazz': Ahmir visits Jazz post surgery but it gets complicated when she asks him if they can stay friends
Jazz Jennings and Ahmir Steward decided to end their relationship after dating for a brief time but it looks like there are still some unresolved issues between the two. Jazz recently had her third gender confirmation surgery and Ahmir decided to check on her. Jazz wasn't sure if it was a good decision to meet Ahmir because he stated that he still had feelings for her.
However, Jazz was sure that she did not want to be in a relationship with him. Jazz was ready to meet Ahmir on the condition that they would just remain friends. While he agreed, Jazz wasn't sure if he understood where they were in their relationship.
Once Ahmir came to the hospital, Jazz confessed that she was doubtful if he would show up. However, he assured her that he would be there for her. While Jazz was happy to hear this, she made it clear to him that she just wanted them to remain friends.
Ahmir was not too happy to hear this as he still had feelings for her. He confessed to the camera that he is finding it difficult to be there for her as he still wanted to be with her and was looking forward to having another chance. However, Jazz did not feel the same way. She asked Ahmir if he would like to stay the night at the hospital.
He seemed unsure and there was an uncomfortable feeling that took over him. Jazz decided to ask him if he was fine but his reply left her disappointed. Ahmir stated that he was fine for now but he wasn't sure how he would feel at the end of the day.
Jazz was upset after hearing this and things took a turn for the worse when she suffered an anxiety attack. Jazz broke down crying and knew that it was a bad idea to call Ahmir. She said that she needed her space to calm down while questioning the possibility of Ahmir and her staying friends in the future.
