SAN FRANCISCO, CALIFORNIA: The husband of 'San Francisco Karen', who confronted a Hispanic man painting a Black Lives Matter slogan onto a wall in front of his home, has been fired from his employment. The man in question was Robert Larkins, who was sacked by his investment bank, Raymond James, after being identified as the man in the video with Lisa Alexander. The duo was seen having a confrontation with James Juanillo, who was peacefully painting a 'Black Lives Matter' stencil onto the partition wall in front of the home that he rented with his husband and five of his friends.

We previously reported that in an almost two-minute video, the couple was questioning him whether it was his property in a condescending tone. They were seen telling him that it's alright to express one's feelings and that they don't have anything against him stenciling the words but it's not okay to do it on someone else's property. The man asked them as to how they were so sure about him trespassing to which they responded saying that they know the owners personally. The man then asked them to call the cops if they felt that there was some funny business going on after which they appeared to back off. They also identified themselves as Lisa and Robert, before walking away from the scene while making a call to the police.

As it turns out, none of the building's owners knew Alexander. "She just claimed she knew the owner of the house. She doesn't know me. I thought she was out of line," one of the owners, told ABC. After the incident, the man took to Twitter to voice his concerns against the couple. He posted the video of his ordeal on his page along with the tweet, "A white couple calls the police on me, a person of color, for stenciling a #BLM chalk message on my own front retaining wall. 'Karen' lies and says she knows that I don’t live in my own house, because she knows the person who lives here. #blacklivesmatter."

Raymond James announced in a statement that it had fired Larkins on Monday, June 15. "After an investigation into the circumstances of a video alleging racism by one of our associates, we have concluded that the actions of he and his partner were inconsistent with our values, and the associate is no longer employed with Raymond James," the company said. Larkins has not made a statement regarding the matter. Alexander, however, has issued an apology after her Facebook page for her store, Laface Skincare, was bombarded with negative reviews and was eventually taken down.

"There are not enough words to describe how truly sorry I am for being disrespectful to him last Tuesday when I made the decision to question him about what he was doing in front of his home," she said. "I should have minded my own business. The last 48 hours have taught me that my actions were those of someone who is not aware of damage caused by being ignorant and naive to racial inequalities. When I watch the video I'm shocked I behaved the way I did. It was disrespectful to Mr. Juanillo and I am deeply sorry for that. I did not realize at the time that my actions were racist and have learned a painful lesson. I am taking a hard look at the meaning behind white privilege and am committed to growing from this experience. I would love to have coffee with Mr. Juanillo in our neighborhood so I can apologize in person."

Birchbox, a distributor of her La Face line, announced on Twitter that it has "officially cut ties with" Alexander. "We condemn the actions of Lisa Alexander," they tweeted. "We have not worked with LA FACE for several years & as a result of the CEO's actions, today have officially cut ties with them. We've removed their products from our website & will not be working with them in the future."
