During his trip to North Carolina on Sunday, October 18, Democratic presidential nominee Joe Biden was accompanied by Hunter Biden's teenage daughter Finnegan. As reported by Daily Mail, North Carolina is one the few swing states, which is crucial in deciding the November election. The former vice president was seen getting off at the Raleigh-Durham International Airport before heading to a campaign event at Riverside High School.

As per Daily Mail, Biden was wearing a white mask under a Navy blue one and even Finnegan supposedly appeared to be wearing a white mask under a Navy blue one with the word 'Vote’ written on it. Yahoo News reports, the duo also visited the fast-food chain Cookout. The grandfather-granddaughter duo ordered milkshakes from the North Carolina-based burger joint. There were a few who tweeted about it as well.

Edward-Isaac Dovere, writer, The Atlantic, tweeted a short video clip of the Bidens and wrote: “Here’s Biden getting a milkshake at a Cookout in North Carolina, explaining that he wanted a black and white, but got a vanilla and a chocolate that he and his granddaughter would mix in the car.” A user wrote, “I went to this Cookout so many times when I was in college. @JoeBiden would have done me more proud if he had gotten the strawberry cheesecake milkshake instead, but honestly, you can’t go wrong with anything at Cookout.” Another commented, “Sorry I'm only voting for someone who gets banana pudding shakes and like 6 orders of quesadillas on the side from Cookout.” One stated, “We live five minutes away from this Cookout. I can’t believe we missed the chance to see him today.” Another user stated, “Joe you should’ve asked us the right flavor to get from cookout... next time get a strawberry cheesecake shake @CookOut.”

The Daily Mail article states that Biden, who has followed a reserved itinerary due to the pandemic, flew to Durham before holding a virtual meeting with African-American faith leaders. He also attended St Joseph on the Brandywine Roman Catholic Church with his wife, Jill, and Finnegan, earlier in the day. The Biden family also visited his late son Beau Biden's grave, who died in 2015 from brain cancer.

Who is Finnegan Biden?

According to The Oprah Magazine report in August 2020, Finnegan doesn't have a public Instagram account. However, she is often seen in her older sister's Naomi’s profile. She is the second daughter of Hunter and Kathleen and was born in 2000. She is named after her great grandmother, Catherine Eugenia "Jean" Finnegan Biden. She usually stays away from the spotlight but was seen on the campaign trail for Biden during the primary earlier this year.

Hunter divorced Kathleen in 2019 and in 2019 Hunter married Melissa Cohen and the couple welcomed a boy in March 2020. Prior to this, in 2018, Hunter welcomed his fourth child with a woman in Arkansas who sued him for not paying child support.
