Human Rights Campaign’s 2024 Los Angeles dinner to honor Jean Smart and Sterling K Brown

Smart will receive the National Equality Award; Brown will receive the Ally for Equality Award.

Los Angeles, California (Release): The Human Rights Campaign will honor Jean Smart and Sterling K Brown at its upcoming HRC LA Dinner to be held at the Fairmont Century Plaza on March 23. 

Smart will be receiving the National Equality Award while Brown will be receiving the Ally for Equality Award. First Lady, Dr Jill Biden will deliver the evening's keynote speech. Additional guests will include Alexandra Billings, Ashlee Marie Preston, Blossom Brown, Madison Werner, Lazarus Lynch, Kevin Ninh (i.e. Kevin Flawless), Maeta, Godoy, Kerri Colby, Aura Mayari and more.

The HRC LA Dinner honors those who work tirelessly for LGBTQ+ equality. The Human Rights Campaign Equality Award recognizes an individual or organization that embodies the passion and dedication to advancing LGBTQ+ equality. These attributes align with HRC’s mission of creating a country that inspires and engages all Americans to work toward ending discrimination against LGBTQ+ citizens and realizing a nation that achieves fundamental fairness and equality for all.
