Human Ken Doll Rodrigo Alves has had his fourth hair transplant in five years after flying to Turkey to have the $3,800 surgery on Tuesday. The surgery addict was in good spirits as he showed off the results while on a shopping spree in London a day after.
35-year-old Alves was seen smiling as he debuted his new silver hair in a series of photos he posted. He was seen sporting a smark pink velvet blazer, a white ruffled shirt, a pair of white ripped jeans and a matching Louis Vuitton belt, trainers and duffle bag. The shopping spree in London follows his seven-hour hair transplant surgery in Turkey where he is said to have thinned his hairline.
During the painful surgery, 1,200 individual hair were planted into his scalp. Rodrigo spent an estimated $3,800 on the procedure which is believed to be his fourth hair transplant in five years.
He had undergone similar surgeries in Beverly Hills and also Istanbul.
While speaking to DailyMail, he admitted that the surgery had boosted his confidence after suffering from male pattern baldness which left him feeling depressed and unhappy.
"I have been losing a lot of hair lately, and it has been causing a lot of distress, including eating more food, which led to me gaining three stone," Alves explained.
He also admitted that his desire and need to maintain a youthful appearance had led him to pay for the procedure in Turkey as transplants are much cheaper there than they are in London, his present home.
"A lower hairline and full head of hair is a sign of youth. I do not accept the natural aging process. I will soon be 36 and I can see that my body and my skin and hair are changing a lot. I have started a new anti-oxidant anti-age diet also, on top of hair implants, to make my hair denser, and next month I am off to Los Angeles where I will be having some hormone replacement therapy," he added.
Alves had recently admitted to having an operation to get the perfect chin which he hoped would be the last cosmetic procedure.
"I hope that this was my last surgery my body just can’t take it anymore. I just can’t help the fact that I had an infection which deformed my chin. Yesterday was my first day out and about after having the op on Saturday. My face is very swollen still, I am struggling to eat and to drink. Liquid just goes everywhere," he said.
"I had a massive chin makeover with Dr. Ali Mezdegi at Comfort Zone. My chin is absolutely perfect now. The surgeon did a very fine and sophisticated job," he concluded.
