LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: After an exciting set of arguments last time around, the GOP debate is set to return with an even more ruthless round, with the 2024 US Presidential Election just over a year away.

The last debate, which happened in August, saw many of the popular Republican contenders on the Fox News debate stage in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.

Donald Trump was a major absentee from the debate, which affected the viewership as he is the leading candidate from the GOP in the poll race so far.

While the final candidates for the debate are yet to be announced, here is all you need to know about the debate's broadcast.

When will the GOP debate take place?

The second GOP debate is set to be held on September 27, Wednesday. The debate will be a two-hour long event starting at 9 pm and going on until 11 pm EST, followed by several interviews with the individual candidates.

This time, the debate will take place at the Ronald Reagan Presidential Foundation and Institute in Simi Valley, California, where people will be able to attend and witness the debate in person.

Where to watch the second GOP debate?

The GOP debate is once again organized by Fox News and will be telecast on the channel. The debate and the following interviews will also be live-streamed on their official website.

Fox Network's own hosts Dana Perino and Stuart Varney will be joined by Univision's Ilia Calderon as the moderators of the second debate.

Who will participate in the second GOP debate?

Several candidates from the last debate have been confirmed to appear at the second debate on September 27.

Florida Governor Ron DeSantis, newbie businessman Vivek Ramaswamy, Former New Jersey Governor Chris Christie, South Carolina Governor Nikki Haley, former Vice President Mike Pence, and South Carolina Sen Tim Scott are the ones to look forward to in the debate.

Trump had previously refused to take part in any debates at all, so it seems highly unlikely that he will appear in this one.
