'How to Sell Drugs Online (Fast)' Season 2: Moritz sabotages Lenny's first real relationship with Kira
Spoilers for 'How to Sell Drugs Online (Fast)' Season 2
The second season of Netflix's 'How to Sell Drugs Online (Fast)' takes drug dealing up a notch. But as Moritz Zimmermann (Maximilian Mundt), Lenny Sander (Danilo Kamber) and Dan Riffert (Damian Hardung) try figuring out how to sell more drugs fast and make millions of euros even faster, each one of them finds themselves in a personal crisis.
For Lenny, there are two prime crises. One is literally keeping himself alive as the degenerative disease threatens to catch up with him now more than ever, and second, his romantic crisis with Kira (Lena Urzendowsky), the mysterious coder. Lenny and Kira immediately hit it off despite his attempts at concealing his true identity. He had been catfishing Kira as Dan for the longest time as he assumed his wheelchair and disabled status wouldn't keep Kira attracted to him.
But he had underestimated her as without any qualms about his disabilities, Kira takes to him immediately. And so begins Lenny's first relationship. His love for Kira immediately takes over him, even instilling in him new hope for his future. He begins to look for therapies and the latest advancements in medical science that will help prolong his life — all so that he can get to know her better.
Here, as it happens, he pushes too far too quickly and Kira ends up asking him for space — setting up a "Kira-meter" that tells her mood. While he is all for giving her that space, Moritz takes matters in his own hands. Frankly, everything seems to be going just fine before Moritz tries to take matters in his hands. Well now, isn't that the premise of the entire storyline anyway?
When Lenny suggests that the MyDrugs core team should consider expanding their team by getting on board a strong hacker and coder (Kira), Mo loses his cool. Ever the smartest guy in the room, he just knows that there is more to her than what she lets on. He then gets to investigate her. When he tries to do so himself, he can't because Kira is no rookie when it comes to hiding her footprint on the internet. So he asks fellow hackers to find out more about her and after finding it out, goes to confront her in her Mitsubishi van.
And so it goes down the drain. Kira quickly jumps to the conclusion that it is Lenny who has sent Mo to check on her. She makes a recording telling Lenny that she cannot trust him any longer and that they're over for good. Mo is supposed to forward this recording to Lenny, but he simply can't since he now sees his childhood best friend with practically a new lease of life.
Kira, however, proceeds to block Lenny everywhere — even taking down the Kira-meter leaving Lenny heartbroken. And that is how Mo breaks up his best friend and business partner's first real relationship — all because he was cent per cent sure he knew better.
