Spoilers for Netflix's 'How to Sell Drugs Online (Fast)' Season 2

Moritz Zimmermann (Maximilian Mundt) is undoubtedly a genius. You simply cannot refute this — after all, how many 17-year-olds have created their own online drug shop selling ecstasy and whatnot to thousands of customers across the globe and making a million euros in barely a few months' time? Not many. Or no one else. But even though Mo is a tech genius, his interpersonal skills are zero, especially when it comes to his girlfriend Lisa Novak (Lena Klenke).

It might be true that Mo started MyDrugs so that he can become the person he thinks Lisa wants. But he quickly gets caught up in his pride and when the moment comes to walk away from MyDrugs, he refuses to do so, eventually spinning a web of lies that he cannot escape. After Mo and Lisa patch up, he cannot come clean about his startup and continues to lie to one and all that he, his childhood friend Lenny Sander (Danilo Kamber) and Dan Riffert (Damian Hardung) are working on MyTems and/ or the vitamin supplement startup.

When MyDrugs creates waves online with the international media debating if M1000, the creator of the website, is a tech genius or a drug lord, Lisa expresses awe - and Mo takes pride in himself and his brainchild. At the same time, he is constantly guilty about lying to his girlfriend and the anxiety catches up with him. He even decides to come clean but he simply cannot, eventually breaking up with Lisa saying he doesn't love her anymore.

Lisa is heartbroken and knows that something is off. But it is when his father Jens (Roland Riebeling) confronts him about a little marijuana that the truth comes clean. Mo's sister Marie (Jolina Amely Trinks) wants a dog. When her father gets the retired police sniffer dog Susi home, she sniffs out the drugs in his room. Lisa is present in the house when this happens and Jens rather have her there during this intervention.

Mo, however, continues to lie and says that he might be having a marijuana problem even dramatically breaking down. But Jens points out that he wiped out Buba's (Bjarne Mädel) laptop because he used to score marijuana from him - still unaware that they used to actually deal in ecstasy. Jens also points out the connection with Dan and the drugs but believes his son.

It is now that Lisa joins the dots and realizes what exactly is going on - even placing Lenny and Dan's roles. She recalls their conversation from the first episode where the two discuss M1000 and his genius. And flees the Zimmermann household. The lies finally catch up with Mo and the truth is spilt, despite all his attempts. Season 2 of the German Original 'How to Sell Drugs Online (Fast)' is currently streaming on Netflix.
