How much does Donald Trump weigh? Former president takes a jibe at Chris Christie over his physical appearance
WINDHAM, NEW HAMPSHIRE: Donald Trump reportedly threw shade at his rivals as he visited Windham High School's gym in New Hampshire, on Tuesday, August 8. The Republican also insisted on prohibiting transgender surgery funding if he becomes president once again while showing his care and concern for veteran military personnel.
Taking aim at President Joe Biden, Trump called him a “Manchurian candidate,” before stating, as per the Daily Mail, “I will ban the Department of Veterans Affairs from wasting a single cent to fund transgender surgeries or sex change procedures.”
Trump vowed to ‘eradicate veterans' homelessness’
“Those precious taxpayer dollars should be going to care for veterans in need, not fund radical gender experiments for the Communist left.” “In addition, I will make it a personal mission to totally eradicate veterans' homelessness,” the 77-year-old politician asserted.
He went on to insist, “On day one, I will sign an executive order to cut off Joe Biden's massive spigot of funding for the shelter and transport of illegal aliens which our country can't handle. And I will redirect that money to provide shelter and treatment for homeless American Veterans. They'll be treated properly.”
‘Christie, he's eating right now’
Among these promises, the former leader did not miss the chance of slamming Chris Christie, who is a staunch critic of Trump and is also running for 2024. He reportedly said, “Christie, he's eating right now. He can't be bothered.”
When a supporter of Trump yelled, “Fat Pig,” the former president sarcastically replied, “Sir, please do not call him a fat pig. That's very disrespectful." He also added, "Don't call him... See I'm trying to be nice. Don't call him a fat pig. You can't do that.”
Christie fired back at Trump, tweeting, "If you had the guts you would show up to the debate and say it to my face."

How much does Donald Trump weigh?
Though Trump mocked the former Governor of New Jersey for his weight, he himself has been called out several times for his looks and deemed “obese.” In 2016, Norm Stamper, a police veteran, told The Washington Post, “If a police officer were asking me to describe a suspect, I would say that he looks to be about 250 pounds and maybe more, maybe 260,” with respect to Donald Trump getting off a plane.
Gunnar Peterson, a Los Angeles-based personal trainer, added at the time, “My guess is he’s between 228-242 lbs. Or, 102.25-108.5 kgs for your international readers.”
But as per a report by the Independent, Trump’s weight is currently 240 pounds and his height is 6 ft 2 in (187 cm), and not 6 ft 3 in as declared on his past arraignment paperwork. Citing the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention metrics, the report also added, “With Body Mass Index (BMI) of 30.8, Mr Trump falls in the clinically obese category.”
