How much did the US spend on Ukraine aid? 'Fox & Friends' host Rachel Campos-Duffy slams Joe Biden for 'grift'
LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Joe Biden is fielding allegations left and right as the country is gearing up for the 2024 Presidential Election.
A recent report claims the US gave Ukraine a shockingly huge figure as financial aid as the European country is struggling through the war against Russia.
Among many others, 'Fox & Friends' host Rachel Campos-Duffy came forward to slam the president's family for the huge expenditure on the aid.
How much did US spend on Ukraine aid?
A report by the Heritage Foundation Hermann Center claimed that the nation spent $113 billion on the formal Ukraine aid package.
The director of the Center Richard Stern said the amount translated to "roughly $900 per American household and almost 12 times the spending cuts promised by House leadership in the annual spending bills," according to The Daily Signal.
He further added that the mind-boggling sum might not actually be the final figure.
"This $113 billion spending spree was added to our national debt and will cost more than $300 in interest costs per household over the decade. Of course, we’ve given more aid than that, but haven’t paid the bill on it yet," Stern said.
Rachel Campos-Duffy calls the Ukraine aid a 'grift'
In a tweet referencing the report, Duffy slammed the Biden government for spending billions of taxpayers' money in Ukraine.
"We are paying for the Biden family grifting in Ukraine," her tweet said.

Republicans, including Duffy, have been critical of Biden's expenditure across borders, especially following the scandals that involved the President's son Hunter Biden.
