'Hot Mess House': Jaeda feels she's being swallowed by her mess, but can she get rid of all the clutter?

Organization expert and coach Cassandra Aarssen always know how to turn a messy room into an organized one and this time, she is ready to help people virtually. Being unable to be there in person due to coronavirus pandemic, Aarrssen took it upon herself to make sure she is there for everyone who needs help.
This time, Jaeda decided to seek help from her. Jaeda is usually an organized person and she has tried her best to make everything organized in her dream house. However, one place that she has never touched is the basement. With the basement being a laundry room, craft area and having all Christmas decorations, it is just a mix out there. Seeing how Jaeda had kept things, Aarssen realized she is a bee, someone who likes to keep things and have a hard time letting them go. Aarssen also had a look at the 'closet of doom' which had a mix of things kept there for a long time. Aarssen gave Jaeda the task of taking all the clothes from the basement and putting them properly.
She further warned Jaeda that if the clothes don't fit, she will have to let them go. Meanwhile, Aarssen also gave another task to Jaeda and that was to get everything out of the closet for her to have a look at what should be removed. Jaeda admitted that she felt like she was being swallowed by her mess as she tried to get rid of things she did not need.
Aarssen sent clear bins to Jaeda in the hope that she would be able to organize everything. With Jaeda being a bee, Aarssen kept in mind that she is someone who would want things in sight because she is someone by nature who believes 'out of sight, out of mind'. Jaeda started by emptying the boxes and making sure she got rid of all the extra things. Jaeda admitted it had been a rollercoaster ride but was happy to see everything decluttered. After a lot of time and effort, Jaeda and her family were able to declutter everything and said goodbye to things that didn't matter.
Aarssen was shocked to see how stunning the basement looked but admitted that she was proud of the change that was brought in.
'Hot Mess House' airs on Wednesdays at 8 pm ET on HGTV.
