'Hot and Heavy': Kristen says many people thought Rusty was marrying her for money, but that has changed now
TLC is all set to premiere its new show 'Hot and Heavy' and recently introduced their couple, Kristen and Rusty. In a sneak peek for the show, viewers get to see Kristen and Rusty's life as it is.
The pair can be seen carefully enjoying their day at the beach when Kristen asks Rusty to apply some sunscreen on her. Surprisingly, Rusty decides to take in a lot more than Kristen had expected. When she tells him that he playfully rubs it on her chest and Kristen laughs.
Talking to the camera the pair reveals that they met at Disney World and have been married for nearly two years. Meanwhile, Rusty jokes about their meeting as he says, "Yeah, it was a classic story. Prince checks the princess' backside and here we are, happily ever after."
Later, Rusty revealed he is a commercial air conditioning contractor while Kristen revealed she owned a very successful bridal store but as now retired. She added that for a long time her friends and family thought that Rusty was behind her for money. However, they have changed their views now.
Rusty confessed that in the past he has dated only plus size women and Kristen seemed alright with it. Fans already love the couple and are excited for the season to start.
"They look like a cute couple, damn TLC for hooking me into more foolishness to watch... I'm already hooked into the 90-day series. I'd watch this over the sister wives show or anything w/the Duggars," read one comment.
Another added, "I mean...imma watch, but not sure where this will go. They seem like a happy couple. I don't really watch @TLC to see happy couples. Idk." The show is set to premiere on January 7 at 10 om ET on TLC.
