Honoka Kitahara worried after Kim Won Shik grows close to 'Love Like a K-Drama' co-star Nozomi Bando
SEOUL, SOUTH KOREA: Honoka Kitahara fears she may have driven Kim Won Shik away after giving birth to a true love triangle while filming for one in 'Love Like a K-Drama's mini-K-drama series. Honoka's attention seemed to return to Won Shik after watching crush Lee Tae Gyun get comfortable with Ayano Kudo.
Japanese actress Honoka said about her experience filming in Korea with her female co-stars, "The moment he (Won Shik) arrived on set, he got the whole crew involved and created a space where everyone could relax and have fun together."
That was "amazing" on his part, she thought.
The studio cast noticed Honoka had her eyes on Won Shik again.
While at a bar, Won Shik informed Ji Hyuk that Nozomi Bando stole his heart. Won Shik fell for Nozomi's grin after she came to meet him, despite the fact that she is in love with Kim Dong Kyu.
Later, in front of the other two lads, Won Shik professed his feelings for Nozomi.
After a fortune-telling session, Honoka and Won Shik were again paired up for the fourth audition. Their compatibility, as described by the professionals, was more that of boyfriend and girlfriend than husband and wife, which involves a lot of "breaking up and getting back together."
In a confessional, Honoka admitted, "I sort of noticed Won Shik's feelings drifting away from me. So... I'm not quite sure... how I should face him."
However, Honoka was excited to work with Won Shik for the third time, since it was easy to work with him.
While practicing for the audition, Honoka noticed how they had drifted away since they were first paired for the first two episodes.
Honoka Kitahara was Kim Won Shik's first ever 'Love Like a K-Drama' pick
The first pairings were formed at the initial meet-and-greet. Three of the female competitors expressed interest in getting matched with Won-shik when they first met him. Won-shik, on the other hand, chose Honoka.

The second episode's love triangle plot added even more unrest to the situation. After passing the audition, Honoka and Won-shik were once again assessed by a professor in the field.
However, since there was a love triangle, Honoka was forced to select a different male protagonist. Tae-gyun was her choice.
'She is the One' had the female lead fall in love with two different men, and when she kisses them both, it leaves her feeling completely shaken. In the film, Honoka played Nana, a Japanese interpreter employed in Korea.
Nana's boyfriend and heir apparent to the chaebol, Byeong Gwan, was portrayed by Won-shik.
Tae-gyun, who had been secretly crushing on Nana for a while, portrayed Sang Gu. Byeong Gwan wanted to split up, and Nana found out.
Sang Gu rescued her as she was sitting in the rain and drove her home. They kissed in the heat of his apartment. She doesn't realize that Byeong Gwan is genuinely in love with her and is attempting to keep her safe.
Honoka Kitahara ditches Kim Won Shik for 'Love Like a K-Drama's third audition
Honoka informed Won-shik after Episode 2 that she would select a different partner for the subsequent round. Surprisingly, 'Love Like a K-drama' gives the ladies the last say over the couple's choice.
Each of the male competitors sketched a present they would want to receive. To be the first to present the item to their partner, each female competitor must select who they want to pair with, dash to buy it, and return in time.
Nozomi and Rio Yamashita both chose Dong-kyu and his flower. But only Nozomi managed to return in time. Honoka and Ayano selected Tae-gyun's headphones in the meanwhile.
Once more, just one arrived in time to take the lead, and Ayano was partnered with him.
Due to their lack of selection, Rio and Honoka were forced to choose between Song Ji Hyuk and Won Shik. In the end, Honoka paired them together by purchasing a t-shirt for Ji Hyuk.
Episodes 1 to 7 of 'Love Like a K-Drama' are currently streaming on Netflix.
