Homeless man gets 15 years for breaking into Georgia funeral home and having anal sex with woman's corpse
A homeless man who broke into a Georgia funeral home in 2015 and had anal sex with a woman's corpse pleaded guilty to his offenses at the Muscogee Superior Court and was sentenced to 15 years in prison.
According to the Ledger-Enquirer, 29-year-old Domonique Cordero Smith broke into the Hill Watson Peoples Funeral Service at 2919 Hamilton Road in Columbus on February 9, 2015, and proceeded to anally rape a female corpse.
Security cameras at the funeral home caught him going into the room where the body was located twice, and on the second occasion, even taking the woman's underwear and stashing it into his backpack. Authorities tracked him to a vacant home in the 500 block of 23rd Street at noon and arrested him, recovering the bag and the underwear in the process.
