Homeless man who claims to be Zeus-like god breaks into woman's home and sucks on her toes as she slept

Richard Michael Parkhurst claims to be a god-like mythical figure sent from heaven to seduce women. As a result of which he was convicted of breaking into a woman's home and then sucking on her toes as she slept. He also exposed himself to a jail guard and a woman in separate incidents.

The 29-year-old homeless man was convicted of a felony burglary count and also three misdemeanors which include one count of peeking into an inhabited building and two counts of indecent exposure in a California court. In addition to this, Richard was also charged with a felony count of assault with the intent to commit a sex offense but the jurors had not decided or come to a conclusion regarding the verdict.

According to Patch, the prosecutors eventually dismissed the count. As reported by the court papers, Richard allegedly exposed himself to a woman while he was at Seal Beach in Southern California on October 15 in 2017. It has been stated that he noticed a woman walking her dog and said to her, "nice dog" before adding, "I am walking mine, too," at which point he exposed himself to her.

Later that same day, he allegedly broke into a woman's home. The prosecutors shared, "She was sleeping on her couch and woke up when she realized he was sucking on her toes."It was DNA evidence which confirmed that Richard was the culprit. The following day, Richard allegedly looked into the mail slot of a nearby house. Two days before this, he is believed to have walked by the house and told a man who lives there that his girlfriend is attractive.

He was arrested and taken to a local jail located in Seal Beach where he allegedly touched himself while staring at jail guard. He was then transferred to the Orange County Jail where Richard allegedly gave a perverted note to a jail guard. Richard's lawyer told Patch that his client was "delusional" and also suffered from mental illness.

His lawyer wrote, "Mr. Parkhurst developed a delusion that he was a Zeus-like god who was sent down from the stars to seduce women. It was his destiny to seduce women, and they would willingly have his children. Mr. Parkhurst believes that is progeny will create a super race that will save the planet."

According to the court papers, the lawyer claimed that Richard was homeless at the time he was arrested. His lawyer further shared that Richard's girlfriend had died, he had lost his home, and he had also stopped taking his schizophrenia medication. Soon after, he "began hearing voices emanating from his television, telling him to do things." Richard's sentencing has been scheduled for April 5.
