Hillary labeled 'Benghazi lady' as she slams Trump, Internet says 200K Covid-19 deaths worse than 4 in Libya

'We deserve a president who cares whether his fellow Americans live or die,' wrote Hillary

Former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton took a dig at President Donald Trump on Monday, September 14, when she alluded to the revelations made by legendary journalist Bob Woodward in his book, 'Rage', where he claimed that the President knew how deadly the coronavirus was but deliberately downplayed its severity back in February and March, which are presently resulted in a death toll of nearly 200,000 in the United States.

"We deserve a president who cares whether his fellow Americans live or die," the 2016 Democratic Presidential nominee wrote. Hillary was met with a response from conservative YouTube host, Austen Fletcher, where he said, ''Aren't you the Benghazi lady?'', referring to four Americans died in the 2012 Benghazi attack.

Fletcher's response set off a flurry of reactions from social media users on the tweet, most of them from liberals who rebuked the YouTube host for going after Hillary when Trump was accused of killing hundreds of thousands by not revealing the seriousness of the situation surrounding the pandemic sooner.

"Yep. The lady who wasn’t responsible for five US Troop deaths in Niger and 200,000 death in US to COVID. You know, those deaths you don’t care about because Fox tells you they don’t count," one commented, while another wrote, "2 people died in Benghazi. 200,000 have died of Coronavirus." A third remarked, "I think 200,000 dead Americans is a bit worse than Benghazi. If not, well he's also ignoring bounties on our troops."

A fourth user opined, "She did care. She sat for 11 hours of questioning about it...when will Trump answer for 190k dead???" Another person tweeted, "Several investigations, 4 deaths, 0 convictions, 11 hrs of testifying under oath. Vs. 100s of thousands of lives losts. 10s of thousands of people that could have been spared if 45 would have been an adult and a leader, not a sociopath only concerned with re-election.O testifying." A sixth wrote, "Under Trumps rule, we have a benghazi every 10 minutes for the last 6 months."

However, there were also some Trump supporters who backed Fletcher. "How has @BarackObama evaded blame for this all these years? It was under his presidency and certainly within his power to resolve. And yet 'HE' did nothing. @HillaryClinton played her part. But they are only called 'secretaries' for a reason," one tweeted. Another said, "Subtitle, what difference does it make? For the four in Benghazi and there families is made a world of difference." A third wrote, "Wondering if she cared about Ambassador Chris Stevens, Information Officer Sean Smith, and two CIA operatives, Glen Doherty and Tyrone Woods, both former Navy SEALs?"

The 2012 Benghazi strike was a coordinated attack against two United States government facilities in Benghazi, Libya, by members of the Islamic militant group Ansar al-Sharia. Members of Ansar al-Sharia attacked the American diplomatic compound in Benghazi resulting in the deaths of US Ambassador to Libya J Christopher Stevens and US Foreign Service Information Management Officer Sean Smith. The group also launched a mortar attack against a CIA annex killing CIA contractors Tyrone S Woods and Glen Doherty and wounding 10 others.
