Hilaria Baldwin slammed for 'seeking attention' as husband Alec faces charges over ‘Rust’ killing
SANTA FE, NEW MEXICO: Oscar-nominated Alec Baldwin is to be charged with involuntary manslaughter over the 2021 accidental shooting of a cinematographer, Halyna Hutchins, on the New Mexico set of the movie ‘Rust'. Alec and the film’s armorer, Hannah Gutierrez-Reed, who was in charge of weapons on the set, will each face two counts of involuntary manslaughter, according to New Mexico First Judicial District Attorney Mary Carmack-Altwies on Thursday, January 19.
Commenting on it, Alec's attorney, Luke Nikas said, as stated by NBC, "This decision distorts Halyna Hutchins’ tragic death and represents a terrible miscarriage of justice. Mr Baldwin had no reason to believe there was a live bullet in the gun — or anywhere on the movie set. He relied on the professionals with whom he worked, who assured him the gun did not have live rounds. We will fight these charges, and we will win," as per NBC. Meanwhile, social media was quick to take a dig at Alec's wife, Hilaria, with whom he shares seven children.

Hilaria, who married Alec in 2012, was slammed after she was spotted leaving their Manhattan home with children in pleather leggings and pearl-embellished slippers just a few hours before New Mexico prosecutors announced that they would charge Alec. One of many Reddit users wrote, "She is loving this." Another wrote, "Dripping in diamonds. Reeking of old leggings. Wearing sunnies in the morning…in NY…in winter. She’s loving this." While an individual said, "One concluded by writing, "SO DAMN PERFORMATIVE and she had to drag those poor kids into it too!!!"
The bashing continued. A user commented, "My God! she would rather show off her giant diamond and coffee cup than shield her children from the cameras?
