Hillary Clinton called ‘disgusting’ as Fox News' Sean Hannity reports on her comment about 'deprogramming' Donald Trump's supporters
NEW YORK CITY, NEW YORK: On Thursday, October 5, twice-defeated presidential candidate Hillary Clinton reportedly said that supporters of former President Donald Trump need “deprogramming” in an interview with CNN.
In a discussion regarding the recent developments on Capitol Hill, former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton drew a distinction between what she referred to as the "sane" faction of the GOP caucus, which played a role in preventing a government shutdown, and the "cult" wing that remains staunchly devoted to former President Donald Trump.
Following this event, Fox News anchor Sean Hannity took to X (formerly Twitter) to give more information on Clinton’s remarks.
However, the internet didn’t respond positively to Hannity’s tweet and brutally slammed Clinton, with several people calling her “disgusting.”

Hannity’s tweet featured an article from its official website titled, “HILLARY'S SHOCKING CLAIM: Trump Supporters Need to Be 'Deprogrammed' by Federal Govt. [WATCH].”
The article includes a video of Clinton’s interview with CNN where she said, “I mean, we had very strong partisans in both parties in the past, and we had very bitter battles over all kinds of things.”
Clinton continued, “But there wasn’t this little tail of extremism, waving, you know, wagging the dog of the Republican party as it is today.”
She further explained, “And sadly, so many of those extremists, those MAGA extremists take their marching orders from Donald Trump, who has no credibility left by any measure. He’s only in it for himself. He’s now defending himself in civil actions and criminal actions. And when do they break with him?”
“At some point, you know, maybe there needs to be a formal deprogramming of the cult members, but something needs to happen,” she concluded.
Internet dubs Hillary Clinton ‘disgusting’
After Sean Hannity shared Hillary Clinton’s interview slamming Trump’s supporters, the internet quickly flooded the Fox News anchor’s comment section on X and brutally trolled the ex-secretary.
