'High School Musical: The Musical: The Series' returned to Disney+ on DEcember 20, and Episode 7 will have you tugging on your emotional heartstrings.

It's all about Thanksgiving this week, and what started off as a happy and fun episode ended up being crappy and emotional making you want to request a rewrite of the episode and plot.

Last week we saw things change for the good when Miss Jenn was saved from getting fired, Ricky and Gina bonded, EJ apologized to Nini, Ricky's dad and Miss Jenn had a moment, so on and so forth.

Back again this week, while we assumed things might be taking a turn for the better, it did, but that was just the start. Toward the end, the least expected happened.

It's Thanksgiving this week on 'High School Musical: The Musical: The Series'. While the theatre club all dreads the day planned with their families, in the end, they plan on having a late night Thanksgiving party at Ashlyn's house and that's where things start to go down.

Gina and Nini finally start to get along, Gina also gets invited to her first-ever sleepover. Ashlyn, on the other hand, convinces Nini to write a song not for someone else or about someone else, but just for her. Carlos brings in his High School Musical board game that he made 10 years ago and the rest of the team gets involved in that, while EJ tries to make amends and comes clean to everyone he lied to.

While all things go well, things start to hit rock bottom when Ricky discovers his mom has a new boyfriend, EJ loses half his followers on Instagram, Nini gets hurt by Ricky's actions, and Gina, who finally starts to fit in with the rest of the theatre club, gets to know she has just 10 days remaining before she has to make a move to Washington because of her mom's job.

Though you might feel happy with what happens towards the first half, the latter will have you feeling all kinds of emotional, mainly for Gina. Many episode fans took to Twitter to express how upset they were that Gina, who finally is starting to make friends, has to move.

"Are you telling me that Nini and Gina are finally friends just for Gina to be moving again and Nini possibly leaving? nah fu*k y'all. #HSMTMTS," a fan wrote. Adding to that another shared, "Gina was just starting to fit in and now she’s moving again?? i want a refund this is unfair #HSMTMTS."

"Gina finally got to a school where she feels accepted and at home and now shes forced to leave? #hsmtmts," shared a fan. While another added, "The episode just ended and im SALTY,, y'all better give Gina a happy ending, ya hear me Disney?? #hsmtmts."

'High School Musical: The Musical: The Series' airs every Friday only on Disney+.
