'Renovation, Inc': Is Bryan-Sarah's banter pushing fans away? They don't respect each other, say fans
Working on multiple design projects tends to stress people out. But Bryan and Sarah Baeumler have each other to lean on when they have stretched themselves too thin. If one has followed 'Renovation, Inc' closely enough, the couple has often gotten into these little tiffs while working their way through the various reno projects they've taken up. So, it's not unnatural to see them argue or get into an argument over what's best for the house they are upgrading.
In this week's episode, Bryan was a little on the edge when he learned that Sarah had committed to a certain deadline to their clients without letting him know. He said it was funny that he'd have to keep the promises she makes. However, the topic wasn't dragged further than a few comments on how they'd have to get going no matter the time they had on hands.
Later, they got into an argument over storage. Initially, they had planned a play house for the kids of their clients but there's been a change in plan since. The couple is now planning on using the space underneath the staircase to build storage, which would mostly be used to stash gym equipment, kettle bells and such. Bryan suggested they add hooks but Sarah was surprised that he would even say that because weights cannot be hung that way.
They then agreed to making a robust drawing/blueprint for the storage and they'll take it from there. Meanwhile, fans cannot stop speculating if they are in a "happy marriage" given their banters throughout the episodes.
"I think when you watch 'Home Town', 'Good Bones', 'Fixer to Fabulous'; even 'Boise Boys' and 'Restored by the Fords', you can see the love & respect they have for each other. Not so in 'Renovation, Inc'," a fan commented on HGTV's Facebook page, while another said: "She comes across as very bossy & demanding — he has the patience to deal with her!"
"I hated 'Island Renovation' and this is not my favorite," a viewer expressed. "These two argue too much for me to enjoy the show," another posted. "Me either. I never really got into the show. I have my favorites and do not watch all of the new ones. Anyone of us could have a show. Same scripts, same designs," a fan posted.
