When Bryan and Sarah Baeumler decided to embark on an adventure of a lifetime by moving to the Bahamas and taking on the challenge of not just renovating a resort but also running it, they knew they would have many roadblocks and setbacks. For nearly a month, the couple bravely fought many challenges ranging from termite infestation to plumbing issues. Despite their many differences, Sarah and Bryan worked together as a team and managed to take down each of the challenges with ease.

Who would have ever thought that Bryan would be the first one to crack and decide to give up on the ambitious project? In the preview clip for the upcoming episode of 'Renovation Island', we see a crestfallen Bryan sitting down and declaring to the camera that he is not only giving up, but also going home. He says, "That's it, I'm giving up. I'm, going home". So, what triggered such a strong reaction from our usually level-headed and optimistic contractor? A series of things.

It all starts off with bad weather. In the clip we see Sarah holding an umbrella and saying that they woke up to bad weather, as the rains continue pouring down heavily. The unexpected showers reveal issues with the roof of the hotel. This takes Bryan by surprise when he realizes the magnitude of work that needs to be done to restore the roof, and not to forget the steep costs associated with it.

Although, we are not entirely sure if it's just the roof issue that left Bryan wondering if he should just cut his losses and move on, we can't wait to see what set him off. Aside from the usual construction-related anxieties, the Baeumlers manage to take some time off to travel to the Western Islands and enjoy a mini-vacation of sorts. Sarah hopefully manages to convince Bryan to stay back and finish the renovation of the resort they bought.

'Renovation Island' follows Sarah and Bryan Baeumler, who purchased an old, rundown resort in a remote island on the Bahamas, with the hopes of renovating it into a tourist hotspot. The show documents their renovation adventures and how they overcome each of the obstacles that come in the way of renovating a huge space.

'Renovation Island' airs every Sunday at 8 pm only on HGTV.
