Here is something that fans of the hugely popular sitcom 'The Brady Bunch' can look forward to this Christmas.

Eve Plumb, the former 'The Brady Bunch' star, is moving from 'A Very Brady Renovation' to her own HGTV series along with her husband Ken Pace and DIY Network host Brett Waterman to 'Generation Renovation', a show that will aim to restore and renovate dilapidated houses that have been in families for generations.

"You know me from TV and film, and, of course, as Jan Brady from 'The Brady Bunch'," Plumb announced in a press release. "Most people don't know that I love older homes, was on a design review board and have redone more than 10 homes of my own over the years."

"I loved working on the replication of the Brady Bunch house with my TV siblings in 'A Very Brady Renovation' and can't wait for viewers to see the work that Brett, Ken and I do in Generation Renovation," she said.

A talented painter, Plumb is an expert home renovator and an avid collector of vintage decor and memorabilia. While renovating houses will be the prime objective of the show, Eve adds that they will also be keeping in mind the rich history of the old houses and restore them in a way that future generations can make the most of their history.

"We’re working with our pal Brett Waterman, who’s an amazing restoration expert, and all of us get along, excuse the phrase, like a house afire," she said. "We’re renovating places that need a little touching up, a little help, and it’s fun for us because we love to restore old places."

They filmed for 'Generation Renovation' in-between Plumb's schedule for 'A Very Brady Renovation'. "All three of us get involved in almost everything [on the show],” she says. “I do design stuff and some construction, if need be, and Ken and Brett do a lot of construction work. Everybody pitches in here and there; it’s not like there are boxes drawn [on who does what]," she said.

In the pilot episode, the trio took up a project of restoring a lake cabin in the upper New York State. "It was a 'Sears Kit House' from the time where you could mail-order a house. It was very popular at the turn of the last century and in the 1920s - Sears wasn't the only outlet that did this - where they would mail you all the lumber and the plans and everything you needed to put it all together yourself - utterly DIY."

'Generation Renovation' airs on Tuesdays at 11 pm ET on HGTV. Fans can watch the show on HGTV GO as well.
