'He's on vacation': Internet offers explanation after Megyn Kelly questions Joe Biden’s slow response to Israel-Hamas war
NEW YORK CITY, NEW YORK: Former Fox News star Megyn Kelly was livid at President Joe Biden for his delayed statement condemning Hamas’ attack on Israel.
The 52-year-old took to X, formerly known as Twitter, to express her rage at President Biden for not addressing the Israel-Hamas war at the get-go and taking time to formulate a statement.
Hamas launched a murderous surprise attack against the State of Israel and its citizens on October 7. Kelly had been vehemently tweeting about the attacks but found Biden lacking in terms of response.
It was at this juncture that the revered journalist decided to call out the President.
These videos coming out of Israel are stunning in their depravity. Our closest ally in the Middle East is under attack.

Kelly became one of the few in the American media to call out President Biden for his ineffective timing to make a statement.
Appalled by the atrocious and violent videos coming from Israel, Kelly couldn’t but help speak her mind.
She also reminded everyone that Israel is America’s “closest ally in the Middle East” and the apparent silence by Biden may hurt future relations with them.
She took to X and wrote, “These videos coming out of Israel are stunning in their depravity. Our closest ally in the Middle East is under attack. Where is the American president?”
Kelly also re-posted a tweet from the official account of the Prime Minister of Israel with the caption, “Pray for Israel” where Benjamin Netanyahu alerted the citizens of Israel that the state is at war with Hamas who earlier launched a “murderous surprise attack against the State of Israel and its citizens."
The revered journalist, who was still searching for a statement from President Biden on the matter, was helped by a few members of the Internet who in turn also mocked the American President’s silence in their might.
Internet explains President Biden’s silence on Israel-Hamas war
After Kelly questioned Biden’s delayed response, many netizens came forward to help her answer the question. Many users also took a dig at the current POTUS for his lack of action.
One tweeted, “He’s on vacation and sending all the money to Ukraine.”
A second gave a detailed explanation and wrote, “Eventually, President Biden will make a statement. He’ll make a statement because he has to, not because he wants to. Meaning, whatever statement he makes will be purely to save himself the potential political embarrassment of being regarded as a geriatric leader who was asleep—either literally or figuratively—on the job..”
The user continued, “Not because he is personally concerned for the national security of the nation of Israel. I fully expect that whatever words proceed from Biden’s lips, they will be equal in force to that of a soaking wet paper towel.”

A third mocked the POTUS and said, “Drooling in his oatmeal,” while a fourth added, “He’s busy cutting $6,000,000,000 checks to Iran funding the whole thing!”
Another user said, “Running away from questions as usual,” while a sixth clarified, “I think he’s getting an ice cream cone. He’s having a hard time deciding on the flavor though.”
