'He’s making it political': Megyn Kelly goes ballistic after Joe Biden takes credit for freeing Israeli hostages from Hamas
NEW YORK CITY, NEW YORK: Megyn Kelly lashed out at President Joe Biden for “seemingly” taking credit for the release of Israeli hostages after Hamas and Israel decided to enter a four-day ceasefire on November 24.
However, Reuters reported that the truce between Israel and Hamas in Gaza which was on the verge of expiring was extended by two days.
The deal, announced last Wednesday, was brokered by Qatar, Egypt, and the United States – and President Joe Biden has not been shy about taking credit, Kelly claimed.
The veteran journalist invited Victor Davis Hanson, author of ‘The Dying Citizen’ on her show, to discuss the freeing of the hostages and Biden’s politicization of the process to his advantage.

Kelly remarked, “It is unbelievable. When I listened to President Biden over the past few days, all I hear is I, I, I, me me me: ‘I did it,’ ‘ My team has been working,’ ‘I did this,’ ‘I’ve been negotiating.’”
She then played a clip of President Biden addressing the media to prove her case.
In the video, POTUS said, “Under a deal reached by extensive use diplomacy, including numerous calls I’ve made from the Oval Office… Today has been the product of a lot of hard work and weeks of personal engagements…”
“I, along with my team, have worked around the clock to secure their release… I’ve consistently pressed for a pause in the fighting for two reasons: to accelerate and expand humanitarian assistance going into Gaza and to facilitate the release of hostages.”
After playing the clip for her viewers, an angry Kelly said, “What commander in chief, upon the release of some hostages – just one American – gets out there and uses I, I, I, me, me, me over and over and over”
She added, “No US president does that. They talk about ‘we and our allies.’ He’s making it political.”
Hanson agreed with Kelly and called out President Biden for using “almost neutral terms” when talking about Hamas.
“He talks about Hamas in neutral terms and so does the UN, so does Europe – I mean, the Irish president said that one of the Irish hostages was ‘lost’ and then ‘found.'" Hanson added.
“This is horrific; this is not a nation-state… it’s a bunch of terrorists that take little kids hostage and murder their parents,” Hanson concluded.
Internet rallies behind Megyn Kelly after she calls out President Joe Biden
The internet agreed with Megyn Kelly and claimed that she rightfully dragged Biden for taking the credit for the truce.
One angry user while critiquing Biden wrote, “He hasn't done anything!!! Seriously, does anyone think he could personally be involved in any kind of negotiations?”
Another user quipped, “He is trying to gain brownie points with the majority of voters because he has nothing to offer.”
A third one joked, “The only thing he can do is release his bowels in front of the world standing at the podium. That's JoeB.”
“I alone with my team”. WHAT???? If you did it with your team then you didn’t do it alone. And NOBODY believes you had anything to do with it,” said another.
Another user sarcastically remarked, “I alone with my team." Were you alone or with your team? Did Moses part the Red Sea or with God's help?”
