President Donald Trump on Tuesday announced the dates for the awards he has been anxiously waiting for — ‘THE MOST DISHONEST & CORRUPT MEDIA AWARDS OF THE YEAR.’ Yes, the wait is finally over, and the time has come for the premier to expose the worst “enemies of the American people.”

According to the Republican billionaire’s tweet, the president himself will announce the awards next Monday at “5 o’clock!

"I will be announcing THE MOST DISHONEST & CORRUPT MEDIA AWARDS OF THE YEAR on Monday at 5:00 o’clock,” Trump tweeted. “Subjects will cover Dishonesty & Bad Reporting in various categories from the Fake News Media. Stay tuned!"

Going by the president’s tweet history, the competition is anticipated to be really tough with most big media houses of the country contending for the unprecedented trophies, which will be given out by the White House.

The prime contenders for the awards are likely to be CNN, the New York Times and the Washington Post.

Fox News will not be included in the list of contenders because it is the only news outlet in the country which gives real, hard facts to the citizens of America, and does not believe in fabrication. In fact, the President of the United States himself gets all his top information from the news channel, particularly Fox and Friends.

With Fox out of the way, here are some of the news publications, journalists and talk show hosts who are likely to be conferred with the awards:

Most Dishonest Media Award: CNN

The president, on various occasions, has pointed out that the CNN’s news rating is “terrible and nobody cares” for the channel’s news pieces.

We reached out to CNN, but most dishonest media house refused to respond.

Most Corrupt Media Award (Print): New York Times

Shortly after Trump’s tweet, the “failing” New York Times released a statement acknowledging their failures.

“We have always strived to present fake news about the president even before he assumed his presidency. All our journalists have had a tough time coming up with the fabricated news considering Trump always tweets absolutely accurate information,” the media house said.

Most Corrupt Media Award (Website): Washington Post

An intern working at the Washington Post, on condition of anonymity, said: “As a red blood American I was traumatized by the orientation in the organization. During our first week, we were only trained on how to spread lies about the president. It has been really tough.”

 Most Corrupt Journalist: Megyn Kelly

The news show host recently changed sides from the most honest Fox News to dishonest NBC.

“I had to bleed from my eyes and ‘wherever’ to be nominated in the list, but it was worth it. I believe in the president’s  acute judgment, and hopefully I will win the award,” Kelly reportedly said.

Worst Late Night Talk Show Host:

Since the beginning of his term, Trump has maintained an equal amount of hatred for the four major talk show hosts — John Oliver, Stephen Colbert, Trevor Noah, Seth Meyers — for spreading fake news about him. Considering the president’s distaste for all of them, it is likely that it is going to be a four-way tie.

When Meaww reached John Oliver for comments, the Emmy-award winner said: “I am honored to be among the most hated by the president. I am ecstatic just to be mentioned in this category, to win the award would be a dream come true.”
