Lifetime movies is back with another thriller titled 'Her Deadly Sugar Daddy'. The film revolves around a girl named Bridgette who moves to Los Angeles from Arizona, with her best friend and how the "sugar daddy" changes her life into a beautiful luxurious dream. But what happens next will scare you.

A 'sugar daddy' is a pretty common term now and means a richer and older man who shower their monetary affection on a young woman, also called 'sugar baby'. The film revolves around Bridgette, Lindsay and Anthony. Lauren Swickard aka or Lorynn York, plays the role of the 21-year-old Bridgette who finds out what a luxurious life with 'wrong means' may cost.

Bridgette wants to become a blogger and wants to move on from her past relationship. She moves to LA with Lindsay (Aubrey Reynolds) who is joining college. In the film, Bridgette described her experience and reality of moving to big city by saying she has "big dreams with no money." She soon starts writing her own blog after she meets her sugar daddy, Anthony Gloss (Brunt Bailey). He's a successful business tycoon, who employs Bridgette to be the "eye candy" for his business clients for which he pays her a whopping $10,000 per month.

In her blog, she describes Gloss as her sugar daddy and says that she "doesn't mind a little risk," and how certain steps will make "the game HERS". But soon, she realizes that all that glitter is not gold as her benefits come with a heavy price and turn out to be a deadly affair after she finds out that Gloss' ex-executive assistant Fin Michaeala was found drowned. Gloss also tries to blackmail her by editing her pictures with the client and adding voice to it.

While the events in the movie are not based on a true story but are surely inspired by real-life incidents, BBC even has a documentary on sugar daddies in real life where Tiffany Sweeney goes undercover to find out for herself about the reality of sugar dating and the potential risks involved. Stories of several 'sugar babies' are also narrated by themselves in the documentary.

Many websites and applications aim to connect attractive young women and older wealthy men. These websites claim sugar babies can receive thousands of dollars in cash, coupled with some very luxurious gifts. The film has a typical Lifetime Movie ending where the "bad guy" meets his karma as, Gloss ends up being arrested by police after Bridgette's mother shoots him from the back as he was just about to kill Bridgette.
