'He needs to shut up': Internet reacts as Donald Trump calls Judge Arthur Engoron a 'total puppet' of AG Letitia James

Former President Donald Trump launched an attack on the New York judge and the Attorney General on social media, but the Internet was unimpressed

NEW YORK CITY, NEW YORK: Donald Trump went on a series of enraged rants against Manhattan Supreme Court Judge Arthur Engoron on his struggling social media platform, Truth Social, on November 18, just a day after Colorado judge Sarah Wallace ruled that he "engaged in insurrection."

Venting his frustrations about his $250 million civil fraud trial, Judge Arthur Engoron, and New York City Attorney General Letitia James, Trump put up a series of posts on the platform, reported Radar Online.

He also took the opportunity to promote a book by Fox News legal analyst Gregg Jarrett.

Donald Trump's criticisms take a vicious turn

The former president, who is known for his indelicate remarks, hurled insults toward the judge and AG, and referred to James as "racist" and "corrupt."

Judge Engoron was labeled as the "most overturned and stayed Judge in the State" by Trump, who further accused him of being a "complete and total puppet" of AG James.

Trump further accused the court of undervaluing his properties as a ploy to discredit him and support their "ridiculous finding of Fraud."

"This Judicial and Prosecutorial corruption and misconduct took place BEFORE THE TRIAL EVEN STARTED, & WITHOUT ANY KNOWLEDGE OF THE CASE. Judge Engoron just did what the highly partisan A.G. told him to do. He is her complete and total puppet!" he claimed.

The post was followed by a conservative media article criticizing Engoron's clerk, Allison Greenfield.

Arthur Engoron issued a gag order on Donald Trump

Trump and Engoron have butted heads throughout the civil trial, which had resulted in a gag order for the former, to prevent him from targeting any of the court's staff.

However, it has failed to stop Trump from speaking out, and the New York businessman has already paid several thousands in fines in the process.
