‘He didn’t’: Internet corrects Megyn Kelly after she claims Donald Trump ‘won’ third GOP debate in Florida

Megyn Kelly declared Donald Trump as the winner of the third GOP Debate in Florida after the former president skipped the event once again

MIAMI, FLORIDA: Former Fox News and NBC star Megyn Kelly declared former POTUS Donald Trump as the winner of the third GOP Debate in Florida.

The veteran journalist, who had been following the debate closely, tweeted after its conclusion that “Nothing changed” and Trump had won the debate despite not even attending it.

However, despite her best efforts to paint a different picture for her followers on X (formerly Twitter), a few netizens took the stand to correct her and openly called her out for siding with Trump.

After the debate ended, Kelly immediately took to X and tweeted, "Nothing changed. Trump won.”

It was a clear indication that the debate didn’t pan out to be a victorious one for any of the GOP candidates in Kelly's view.

However, she was challenged by a few netizens who disagreed with her on it and expressed themselves freely, with some even supporting Florida Governor Ron DeSantis.

One X user shared a photo of people emptying the stands from Trump’s rally before he concluded his speech. The person wrote, “Trump is done. Old, boring, unhinged, and soon-to-be convicted felon. DeSantis is the future."

A second person questioned Kelly and remarked, “I’m not sure about that. Your perception is not reality.

Another was stern and reminded Kelly, “Trump didn’t win, he wasn’t there. Let’s start getting real about this. Polls aren’t wins, learn the lesson of the last 4 times “Trump won”….”

“Trump hasn’t won anything in years,” said another user.

There was a netizen who completely disagreed with Kelly and praised NBC as well. The person stated, “For the first time, I completely disagree. DeSantis was finally given a stage to speak. He did so perfectly. NBC did a much better job as well.”

Another user shared a caricature of Trump sitting in a court, looking away from the judge, and wrote, “I could be wrong, but this doesn’t look like a guy that is Winning.”

Megyn Kelly praised Vivek Ramaswamy for comparing ‘fentanyl lacing’ to ‘terrorist poisoning’

During the GOP Debate, while talking about fentanyl, Vivek Ramaswamy said, “These are not all “fentanyl overdose” cases. I’ve talked to moms and dads whose kids died after buying what they thought was weed or Percocet but it was actually laced with fentanyl.” 

He added, “If a Big Mac has fentanyl in it, we wouldn’t call that an “overdose” either. These are poisonings. This is closer to bioterrorism and I refuse to be a passive bystander who just watches it happen.”

Kelly took note of this action by Ramaswamy and later praised him for getting it right.

She agreed with him and tweeted, “I like that Vivek line about Fentanyl lacing being closer to a terrorist poisoning than an OD. FACT."
