Season 2 of 'Euphoria' is taking some interesting and unexpected twists and turns as it slowly moves towards the finale. The latest episode has garnered the same kind of traction that the HBO show has since its premiere in 2019. Titled 'A Thousand Little Trees Of Blood,' Episode 6 of 'Euphoria' Season 2 follows Rue's attempts at staying clean and detoxing. The intense throes of withdrawal, though minimal compared to the previous episode, really rattled Rue but her commitment to getting better gained her the support of her family and her sponsor.

Parallelly, we get to see how Nate's infidelity, brought to light by the 'Spider-Man: No Way Home' star, pushes Maddy and Cassie away from each other, as they deal with the aftermath of the incident. The episode also shows a different side to Nate, who pulls a gun on Maddy and gets her to return the tape of Jules and his father, letting Maddy know that things are over between the two of them. Additionally, he asks Cassie to move in with him, to which she agrees. While these events take up most of the episode, on the sidelines, Kat and Austin break up while Fezco and Lexi bond over a film and music.

'Euphoria' Season 2 Episode 1: Is Nate dead? Fans say 'he can rot in hell'

"This girl right here deserves a freaking award… no scratch that… multiple awards for her acting skills/performance in #Euphoria," a fan tweeted, lauding Zendaya's performance in the HBO series. The 'Malcolm & Marie' star has appeared in blockbuster films but it's her role as Rue in 'Euphoria' that really gave the masses an opportunity to see her talent. "Rue wanting to go to rehab has brung back my hope for her this is a great start for a new beginning i hope she keeps this mentally i was so proud of her this episode #Euphoria #rue #EuphoriaSeason2," another opined. Another fan, touched by the dinner scene, tweeted "It was so good to see rue and her family happy with Ali even if it was just for 4-5mins #Euphoria #euphoriatalks #rue #euphoriarant".

However, the end to Rue's arc in Episode 6 of 'Euphoria' Season 2 made a fan say, "That ending just BROKE ME!!!! “My daughter is going to kill herself!! Please just help!!!!” And that’s EXACTLY what is wrong with our system today. So many rules and regulations. Waiting lists. Lack thereof. The whole nine! I can’t with this #rue #Euphoria @euphoriaHBO." Another seconded the tweet adding "I think that final scene with Rue’s mom was some kind of foreshadowing… Rue is not in the clear yet #Euphoria #EuphoriaHBOMax".

Nate's trajectory also got equal or rather more attention, with a fan tweeting, "All of season 2 of Euphoria is Nate's villain origin story Dude is a menace #Euphoria #EuphoriaHBOMax #EuphoriaSeason2." "The way maddy was so vulnerable and still told nate she loved him before he held a gun to her head is SICK #Euphoria," an upset viewer opined." "How did Nate go from traumatising Maddy to being nice to Jules? What is his gameeee #Euphoria," another viewer questioned. "Idk why I do this and watch this show, that maddie and Nate scene was so horrible and then he went and grabbed Jules’ hand and then moved in with Cassie all in one car ride #Euphoria," tweeted a fan puzzled by the events that unfolded. An observant fan speculated that Nate could land in trouble for what he did in Maddy's room, tweeting, "There's a camera in Maddie's room or.... #maddie #Euphoria #NateJacobs #EuphoriaHBOMax #gowatchit #euphoriarant".
