Vox's masterplan to spy on Alistor
The second episode focuses on the rivalry between Alistor, the radio demon, and Vox, the video star.
While on the one hand, Charlie and her gang hope to get more footfalls into the hotel ahead of the extermination, Vox announces to commence Angelic Security to shield hell's residents.
To make his new enterprise a success, he must ensure that no deal happens with Alistair and Charlie Morningstar, the owner of Hazbin Hotel. Vox hatches a master plan and sends Sir Pentious to spy on them.
Hazbin Hotel gets its first resident
Disguised as the first guest of the hotel, Sir Pentious, the architect of destruction starts by winning everyone's trust. However, the mission failed sooner than expected.
At night, Pentious is caught red-handed placing a camera in the hotel. On being exposed as a traitor, Pentious expects Vox to rescue him. Upon betrayal by Vox, he is left heartbroken.
Meanwhile, Charlie chooses mercy over punishment. She asks him to apologize and suggests that he complete the salvation program at the hotel.
At the end of the episode, Alistor discovers Pentious' communication device. He laughs at his rival's attempt and taunts him about the need for a stronger effort next time.
