'Hazbin Hotel' Episode 1 Takeaway: Adam sets out to seek revenge for angel's death

LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: 'Hazbin Hotel' Season 1 premiered on Prime Video on January 18. The first episode gave a brief about Lucifer's past, one of Heaven's angels who was cast out for thinking differently, assuming that it would be dangerous for the order of Heaven.
As the angels expanded the universe, Adam and Lilith were created from the dust of the Earth, but Lilith refused to submit to Adam who demanded control. She left him and eventually fell in love with Lucifer.
To share free will with humanity, they gifted Eve the fruit of knowledge. Unfortunately, it brought evil into the world and shattered Heaven’s order.
Who killed the angel during the extermination?
Heaven punished Lucifer and Lilith by casting them into the dark pit of hell. While Lucifer suffered and lost his will to dream, Lilith thrived and grew the power of Hell.
This made Heaven feel threatened and began sending an army to Hell every year to exterminate a number of its sinners and ensure that they could never rise against them.
Lilith's daughter, Charlie Morningstar, carried the hopes of her mother. To save the residents of Hell from the genocide, she built Hazbin Hotel which would serve as a place of reformation and a stepping stone towards the pathway to Heaven.
Back in heaven, Lute informs Adam that one of the angels was killed in the last extermination, something that had never happened before.
However, at this point, it hasn't been revealed who carried the daring act of killing an angel.
Adam to take revenge for angel's death
Adam, who serves as the leader of angels is seen getting furious, which seems to bring out the evil inside him. Meanwhile, another extermination is announced which creates chaos in hell.
