'Harley Quinn' Season 2 Episode 11 Preview: The Joker is back and may somehow be Gotham's best hope
Things are bad in New New Gotham. Doctor Psycho (Tony Hale) has gotten himself a major power upgrade and has hijacked Harley Quinn's (Kaley Cuoco) abandoned Parademon army to take over the city and eventually, take over the world. With Batman (Diedrich Bader) out of commission and Batgirl (Brianna Cuoco) being far too inexperienced for this apocalyptic threat, Harley turns to the one person in the world who might be able to turn things around - the Joker (Alan Tudyk).
It's a mark of how dire things are that Harley is turning to the Joker for help, but he's the only person who knows where to find the magical fairytale book with the Justice League trapped inside it. A cured Joker has been off the board for a while, having been cured at the end of Season 1, but Harley's been left with no choice but to bring him back. The question is, has his time as an ordinary, pleasant man changed the Joker at all? More pressingly, now that he's back, what happens to the woman he'd been dating while his memories were gone? It's important, because the book of fairytales has been left at her home.
Harley and the Joker team up again for the first time in ages and they'll have to act quickly because Doctor Psycho and the Riddler (Jim Rash) are setting in motion Harley's abandoned plans to team up with Darkseid (Michael Ironside) and take over the world. After months of having his villainous needs overlooked, Doctor Psycho's not going to be taking it easy on his former boss.
In the meanwhile, Poison Ivy (Lake Bell) and Kite Man (Matt Oberg) are not letting something like an infested city stop them from carrying out their wedding plans. The clock is ticking and Harley's about to learn that she can't just let Ivy go. It's time to fight for their love.
The official synopsis for 'A Fight Worth Fighting For' reads: "If she's to defeat Psycho's army, Harley needs Joker's help finding Fables' storybook that's holding the Justice League inside. The book is in the worst place possible… Joker's ex-girlfriend's house. But when she learned she was dating an evil mastermind, she threw the book out of the house only for it to get snatched up by a curious ParaDemon. Harley and Joker must track the book down, and on their adventure, both come to the realization that they must fight for their respective true loves. Meanwhile, Psycho and Riddler prepare for their master plan calling on Darkseid for help. And Kite Man and Ivy make last-minute wedding preparations."
