Season 1 of 'Harley Quinn' has barely just ended, but news for Season 2 is coming fast and hard. After the announcement that 'Harley Quinn' Season 2 will be out on April 3, we now have news regarding the voice cast for new characters who are appearing on the show. Announced during an episode of 'DC Daily', 'Spider-Man 2' star Alfred Molina will voice Mr Freeze, while 'Family Guy' veteran Sanaa Lathan will voice Catwoman.

After reducing Gotham to rubble and taking the Joker (Alan Tudyk) down, Harley Quinn (Kaley Cuoco) and her crew have firmly established themselves as top-tier Gotham career villains. The male villains of the DC Universe, however, are apparently not happy about this.

"The male supervillains from Batman’s rogue gallery don't take too kindly to the ascendancy of the female super villain, and begin to conspire against her," says executive producer Patrick Schumacker. "I think that's about all we can say, but you will see a lot more villains from Gotham."

We have already seen a number of Gotham villains appear on the show besides the Joker, from recognizable masks like the Scarecrow (Rahul Kohli) to far more obscure characters such as Kite-Man (Matt Oberg). Sky is the limit with possible appearances, as Batman (Diedrich Bader) has one of the most extensive rogues' gallery in comic book history. Mr Freeze is one of the more recognizable villains and is certainly enough of a threat to fill in the void left by the Joker and the destroyed Legion of Doom.

Catwoman, in the meanwhile, is a perfect fit for the show. An iconic Batman character, she has always skipped between both sides of the hero/villain boundary, not unlike Harley Quinn and Poison Ivy (Lake Bell). Catwoman is said to be a recurring character on the season and fans can look forward to a Gotham City Sirens reunion.

'Harley Quinn' Season 2 is set to release on April 3 on DC Universe.
