Is Haley Harris lying to Jacob Harder? The ‘MAFS’ star claims that his wife ‘looks past him'
From being a stranger to becoming a married couple is not an easy process, no matter how well the two people get along. There are bound to be differences and disagreements along the way, especially since the individuals have to truly get to know each other within an extremely small window of time.
While some couples, such as Vincent Morales and Briana Morris, hit it right off the bat (they've also had a few bumps along the way), this couple is probably the exception to the rule. In reality, a vast majority of Season 12's couples have truly been struggling to make their relationships work.

A couple who found themselves on the list is Jacob Harder and Haley Harris. Since their honey, from Harris leaving Harder to out with other couples, him accusing her of cheating to them not being intimate after sleeping with each other, the couple has truly been struggling to make things work. While Harder feels like Harris won't put down her walls or even try, Harris feels like she is trying, but the pressure is just too much.
While she wants to take her time since this whole thing is unfamiliar territory, Harder believes that it makes no sense to treat this relationship like a friendship, seeing that they're husband and wife and she should consider viewing it that way. In the previous few episodes, the pair seemed to have finally made some progress. Harris went shopping and got Harder some new clothes, something he admitted that no one has ever done for him. The two even went out on a lunch date together and hosted a get-together for the other couples.
Their happiness seems to be short-lived though, as the couple seems to be arguing yet again. Harder claims that he feels like Harris "kinda look past him". When she probes further to understand what he means but this statement, Harder explains that she makes him feel as though he's not in the room when they're together. This has made it hard for him to bridge the connection, because to him, it's as though he doesn't want one.
He even mentions that there are reasons she's not attracted to him, but she is not telling him why. Harris claims she's been entirely honest. This disconnect continues to cause a rift between the two. Additionally, Harris, who is rather close to Banks, has admitted that the experts did them both wrong during the matchmaking process. So the question remains — does she truly want to make this work or is she trying just for the sake of it? Looks like we'll have to wait and see.
