Amber Alert: 9-year-old New York boy Gustavo Oliveira taken from Clifton Park believed to be in serious danger

CLIFTON PARK, NEW YORK: The state police have issued an Amber Alert for a young boy, 9, who was taken from Clifton Park on early Friday morning, May 8.

According to the police, the child is thought to be in danger of serious harm or even death. The state police have identified the child as 9-year-old Gustavo Oliveira who was taken around 1 am from Tallow Wood Drive.

The authorities have also been able to identify the suspect as Nivaldo P Oliveira who is believed to be around the age of 41. He had last been seen traveling on Tallow Wood Drive. According to a Facebook post, the state police could not identify whether the two Oliveira's were related.

They were also unable to identify what vehicle Nivaldo was traveling in. The child has been described as having short black hair and brown eyes. He is said to be about 4 feet and 8 inches tall and weighs approximately 190 pounds.

The Facebook post reads, "The child was taken under circumstances that lead police to believe that they are in imminent danger of serious bodily harm and/or death."

Anyone with any information on this abduction is asked to call the New York State Police Clifton Park at (866)NYS-AMBER or dial 911 to provide information on a report or sighting, the post says.
