'Griselda' Ending Explained: Who dies in Episode 6 of Netflix's crime-drama series?
Spoilers for 'Griselda' on Netflix
MIAMI, FLORIDA: Netflix’s latest crime drama ‘Griselda’ starring Sofia Vergara as the lead is all kinds of charming.
It has a little bit of everything and more, one could possibly expect from a series that revolves around a Columbian drug lord whose itch for owning the city increases with every episode.
‘Griselda’ has its share of ups and downs, but the final episode takes a turn for the worse. Everything that could go wrong indeed goes wrong in this crime drama's Episode 6.
Death, a familiar theme in ‘Griselda’ reaches new heights in the series finale, especially for the lead character, Griselda Blanco.
Who dies in ‘Griselda’ Episode 6?
It is best to not get attached to any character in ‘Griselda,’ because they most likely won’t make it to the very end of the series. Dario, who was Griselda Blanco’s lover in the crime drama, eventually leaves her, and takes their son away, after a party gone wrong.
Not much about Dario is revealed towards the end of the series, apart from his tragic death, where he is shot multiple times, in addition to having his child taken away from him.
In 'Griselda' Episode 6, Dario's death not only concludes his life but also brings a melancholic end to his relationship with Griselda. Their emotional and physical separation occurred when he left, but with his death, any possibility of them crossing paths again was forever lost.
What happens to Griselda Blanco in the end?
For Griselda, it has always been her against the world, but her sons were always very near and dear to her.
In ‘Griselda’ Episode 6, she is finally arrested, and the audience is convinced her friend and the only person she could trust, Rivi, has also turned against her after a deal from the DA.
However, Rivi, who is bound to become a fan favorite, still has one trick up his sleeve, which reduces Griselda’s sentence in prison.
As Griselda spends her time in prison and is close to the end of her sentence, she receives some devastating news.
Three out of four of Griselda’s sons were murdered, and while the exact names of the killers aren’t mentioned, over all the decades, Griselda has made more than enough enemies, who waited until the end of her prison sentence to kill her sons. As she finally leaves prison, Griselda is all alone.
‘Griselda’ is now streaming exclusively on Netflix
