Grieving husband slept next to dead wife in their bedroom for six days to come to terms with her death
Russell Davison, a leasing agent, said he was determined to not hand his wife Wendy over to a funeral director and decided to keep her at home with their four children
A heartbroken husband who couldn't bear to see his wife's dead body taken off to a mortuary in a body bag allegedly slept next to her corpse in their bedroom for six days.
After a 10-year battle with cervical cancer, Wendy died at her home in Derby, England, the New York Post reports. Her husband, Russell Davison, a leasing agent, said he was determined to not hand her over to a funeral director and keep her at home with their four children. That said, the embattled father now wants others to know that staying close to a loved one's dead body is not something to be afraid of.
